General Provisions
The SV League ("SVL") recognizes the proper handling and protection of personal information as a social responsibility. SVL complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (the "Personal Information Protection Act"), other relevant laws, regulations, and associated guidelines, and handles personal information in accordance with this privacy policy (this "Policy"). The definitions of terms used in this Policy are governed by the Personal Information Protection Act.
If a separate privacy policy or specific terms regarding the handling of personal information ("Individual Privacy Policies, etc.") are established for individual services provided by SVL, those Individual Privacy Policies, etc. will take precedence over this Policy.

Personal Information Acquired by SVL
The personal information acquired by SVL ("This Personal Information") is as follows:
- Information of "Ticket V" V-Member ID Members
- Name, gender, age or date of birth, and address.
- Telephone number, email address, SNS account information, and other contact details.
- Member account information (member ID, password, and other data) for online ticket sales services for SV.LEAGUE and SV.LEAGUE GROWTH matches, as well as ancillary member information management services provided by SVL (or SVL clubs) (the "Services"; members thereof are referred to as "Members").
- Other information designated by SVL.
- Information of Players
- Profile information such as name, gender, date of birth, nationality, age, affiliated club, and career history.
- Contact details such as address, telephone number, and email address.
- Information required for tournament registration, such as passport numbers and Japan Volleyball Association registration numbers (MRS numbers).
- Information stipulated in player contracts and horizontal documents, such as contract periods, base remuneration, and other allowances.
- Other information acquired by SVL concerns players for player management purposes.
- Information of SVL Personnel (Team Staff, Front Office Staff, JURY, Referees, Media, Partners, Photographers, etc.)
- Profile information such as name, gender, date of birth, age, affiliated organization, title, career history, qualifications, and facial photographs.
- Contact details such as address, telephone number, email address, and the location of the affiliated organization.
- Payment information such as bank account numbers.
- Authentication credentials such as passwords and system access permissions.
- Other information acquired by SVL regarding personnel in connection with its business operations.
- Information of SVL Business Partners' Representatives
- Profile information such as name, affiliated organization, and job title.
- Contact details such as address, telephone number, email address, and the location of the affiliated organization.
- Payment information such as remittance amounts and bank account details.
- Tax-related information required by law, such as Individual Number ("My Number").
- Other information acquired by SVL in connection with business transactions.
- Information of Event and Lecture Participants
- Profile information such as name, gender, age, affiliated organization, and job title.
- Contact details such as email address and the location of the affiliated organization.
- Other information acquired by SVL regarding events and lectures.
- Information of Policyholder
- Profile information such as name and date of birth.
- Contact details such as address and telephone number.
- Insurance contract details such as insurance policy numbers, insurance periods, maturity dates, and premium amounts.
- Information of Individuals Making Inquiries
- Profile information such as names.
- Contact details such as address and telephone number.
- Information regarding the specific content of the inquiry.
- Information Acquired Through Services Provided by SVL
- Contact and Identity Information: Name, address, age, date of birth, gender, telephone number, email address, member ID, password, and other data necessary to verify the identity of the person accessing the account, as well as other member-related information designated by SVL.
- Usage History, etc.: Service usage logs, activity-related data, and correspondence history during customer support interactions.
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies.
- Information of "Ticket V" V-Member ID Members

Purpose of Use of Personal Information
SVL uses This Personal Information strictly within the scope necessary to achieve the following purposes. However, if an individual provides personal information and separately consents to its use for a purpose different from those listed below, SVL may use it within the scope of that specific consented purpose.
- Execution of administrative duties related to the operation of volleyball competition businesses (including the following matters):
- Hosting volleyball matches and creating/preserving official records.
- Training and development of volleyball players, instructors, and referees.
- Registration of volleyball players and instructors.
- Promoting and publicizing volleyball matches through broadcasting and streaming services.
- Surveys, research, and technical guidance regarding volleyball and volleyball techniques.
- Implementation of welfare and benefit programs for volleyball players, head coaches, and related personnel.
- Execution of international exchanges and initiatives related to volleyball.
- Promotion and support of volleyball through the publication of official newsletters, books, etc.
- Management of owned intellectual property rights, as well as product planning, development, manufacturing, and sales.
- Operation and management of the club licensing system.
- Development, provision, maintenance, or improvement of products and services.
- Advertising, marketing, and sales promotion activities for products and services.
- Identity verification and authentication services.
- Performance of business operations relating to contracts with business partners.
- Communications with visitors to exhibitions, events, etc.
- System maintenance, and responding to inquiries, opinions, or requests.
- Other purposes specified in the Individual Privacy Policies, etc.
- Provision of personal information to third parties to achieve any of the aforementioned purposes.
- Execution of administrative duties related to the operation of volleyball competition businesses (including the following matters):

Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
SVL does not provide This Personal Information to third parties except in the cases listed below, or as provided in "5. Outsourcing" or "6. Joint Use":
- When the prior consent of the individual has been obtained.
- When based on laws and regulations.
- When necessary to protect human life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual.
- When particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the healthy development of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual.
- When necessary to cooperate with a national government agency, local government, or an entity entrusted by them in executing administrative affairs prescribed by law and obtaining the consent of the individual risks obstructing the execution of those affairs.
- Other cases permitted under laws and regulations.

Outsourcing
SVL may outsource all or part of its business operations—such as data analysis, email transmissions, hosting services, customer support, marketing support, and the development/provision of volleyball-related products and services—to external parties.
For this purpose, SVL may provide all or part of the personal information to contractors, to the extent necessary to achieve the intended purpose of use. In doing so, SVL selects contractors that maintain an adequate level of personal information protection. SVL also enters into confidentiality agreements with such contractors, requiring them to manage personal information appropriately, including prohibiting its use for purposes other than performing the outsourced operations, and provides necessary and appropriate supervision.

- Security Control Measures
SVL implements appropriate measures and systems to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of personal information it handles, and reviews and improves these measures as necessary. The security control measures implemented by SVL include the following matters. In the unlikely event that a leakage, loss, or damage occurs, SVL will immediately take countermeasures and strive to prevent recurrence.
- Establishment of Rules Regarding the Handling of Personal Information: SVL formulates internal regulations and guidelines regarding the handling methods and management frameworks for personal information.
- Organizational Security Control Measures: SVL appoints a Personal Information Protection Manager, clarifies the scope of personal information handled by officers and employees, ensures the Personal Information Protection Manager supervises officers and employees, and establishes a reporting and communication structure for when facts or signs of violations of laws or internal regulations are detected.
- Human Security Control Measures: SVL conducts regular training and education for officers and employees regarding key considerations when handling personal information.
- Physical and Technical Security Control Measures: To prevent leakage, loss, damage, theft, misuse, or alteration of personal information, SVL controls entry and exit to facilities, limits equipment brought into workspaces, implements lock-and-key management for devices, electronic media, and documents containing personal information, and applies reasonable physical and technical measures such as data encryption, access controls, and unauthorized access prevention mechanisms.
- Understanding the External Environment: When handling personal information in a foreign country, SVL understands the systems for the protection of personal information in that foreign country and implements necessary and appropriate measures to ensure the security of personal information.

- Procedures for Requesting Disclosure, etc., and Fees
When an individual requests the disclosure of retained personal data or third-party provision records, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or suspension of third-party provision of their retained personal data (collectively referred to as "Requests for Disclosure, etc.") in accordance with the law, directed to the contact information listed in "11. Contact Information", SVL responds as follows:
- Disclosure of Retained Personal Data or Third-Party Provision Records
An individual may request SVL to disclose their retained personal data or third-party provision records within the scope permitted by law, using a method specified by the individual (either via electronic records or in writing). However, SVL may decline disclosure if any of the following apply. If disclosure via the specified method is difficult, SVL will notify the individual without delay.
- If disclosure risks harming the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party.
- If disclosure risks causing significant obstruction to the proper execution of SVL's business operations.
- If disclosure would violate other laws and regulations.
- If it cannot be verified that the request is made by the individual themselves.
- Correction, Addition, or Deletion
An individual may request SVL to correct, add, or delete their retained personal data in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act. In such cases, SVL conducts an investigation without delay within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use, and based on the results, corrects, adds, or deletes the retained personal data to the extent permitted under the Personal Information Protection Act.
- Suspension of Use, etc., or Suspension of Provision to Third Parties
An individual may request SVL to suspend the use of, erase, or suspend the third-party provision of their retained personal data in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act. In such cases, SVL handles the request appropriately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
Please note that a fee of 2,000 yen (excluding tax) will be charged per request for notifications of the purpose of use and disclosures of personal data or third-party provision records.

Websites managed by SVL utilize Cookies and other similar technologies for tracking or analytical purposes. SVL analyzes and utilizes this information within the scope of "3. Purpose of Use of Personal Information" for internal business improvement purposes.
- Disposal of Acquired Information
Acquired personal information will be disposed of, deleted, or erased when SVL reasonably determines that it is no longer necessary for its ordinary business operations or stated purposes of use.
